US M1 Helmet Korean War era Battle Damaged

Korean war era M1 helmet shell and liner.  Has a rear seam, swivel bales.  Chin straps are OG-107 clip-on, missing the fabric to one side.  Original paint is OD with sand aggregate mixed in.  Liner is a Capac with 1950's dates on the webbing.  Still has the leather chinstrap.  Helmet was hit with shrapnel.  I have no story associated with it.  Does not appear to have been worn when damaged.
