Turkish Peabody M1874 Yataghan Sword Bayonet
Item: FM1228

Bayonet is a full length M1874 Turkish Peabody that was converted into a sabre by removing the spring and stud and filling in the mounting slot and press stud ports.  Has the original leather grips.  Marked with a "B" on the ricasso and an "H" on the crossguard.  Does display a lot of wear.  No scabbard.  Scarce to find in any condition with the modification.
